Open Evening Thurs 24th July

Clive & Helen Tongue, the new owners of Starfish, hosted an open evening on Thursday 24th July to meet parents and discuss their plans for the future. Topics included the changes made to some areas of administration, the reception area, new office and staffroom layout. Parents were reassured that staffing stability and recruitment are key focal point at present, and that ratios were being maintained. A new fee structure was also discussed, which will come into place as from the beginning of Sept.09. The new structure will be fairer and  begin to bring Starfish into line with the other nurseries in the group, Little Shipmates in Hythe and Sunrise Day Nursery at Southampton City College. Clive and Helen thanked all the parents and staff for their continued support since taking over the nursery.
